Becoming a Family

We are the Hybl Family. For those of you who don't know our past before we became "The Hybl's," we would like to give you a brief introduction. It is truly the oldest story in the book. Boy meets girl, girl meets boy, girl falls in love with boy, boy marries girl, and baby makes three. Well sorta.....It probably reads much more like this....Boy meets girl, boy and girl fall in love, boy and girl spend years deciding whether they can't live With or Without each other and finally decide to get hitched. One hurricane weekend at the beach, a name change, and happily ever after. Two years after marrying Ryan and I were so excited to learn we were going to be a family and on September 4th, 2007 exactly three years after being married, Adyline Kennedy joined our family.
Ryan and I both attended the University of Georgia where he played golf and majored in business and I majored in education. After school Ryan took a job as the assistant golf coach at UGA and I taught school. We both decided that we wanted more and went for it. Ryan turned Pro and played professional golf for a year on the mini tours but an elbow injury would turn our lives back to college golf.
In June of 2009 Ryan took the head coaching position for the men's golf program at the University of Oklahoma. Months of living apart finally lead to Adyline and I becoming Oklahoma girls.
This is our life in the fast lane. We hope you enjoy being parts of our lives. GO SOONERS!!

Balloon Princess

Adyline spent the first two years of her life crazy for bubbles and now she has moved on to balloons. She spends hours and hours spinning around in her tutu's and high heel princess shoes chasing balloons.

Flower Fantasy

Today we took a trip to Lowes in search for a new riding lawn mower. Who knew that something that spits up grass could cost $2000 and the attachments can add another $1000. Are you kidding me? Maybe we should just buy a goat.

While Ryan began haggling with the 18 year old sales guy, trying to scrounge up a deal ofcourse, Ady and I began dreaming in the flower department. Rows and Rows of flowers, I was like a kid in a candy store. Ryan walked up and saw the cartoon bubble above my head with all of my flower fantasies and quickly said, "It is going to snow on Saturday, no flowers for you."
(Damn Flower Nazi!)

Spring Break

Flowers beginning to bloom, green grass, warm breezy temperatures......NOT! So I thought Spring break was supposed to be the time of year where schools let the children off for a well needed break just in time to enjoy the spring air....not in Oklahoma. I think here, spring break means, "let's take a break from school to enjoy 44 degree weather, 50 mph winds, and allergies." There is nothing worse than runny noses. You know the kind, where your childrens noses run so much that it begins to look more like drool. I go around the house telling Ady,"let me wipe your mouth, I mean nose!"

Somebody please send me some green spray paint! Because If I don't see some green grass I might go crazy.

Puerto Rico

Here Ady is at the pool in Puerto Rico. We had such a great time playing at the pool while the boys were at the golf course. Isn't my little girl soooooo cute :)

NO MORE SNOW!

I am so tired of snow...this was the last snow we had this season (4th so far). Everyone here is saying this is such a strange winter, "we never get this much snow" they say. I believe they are telling me stories :)

Christmas just isn't the same without family

After moving in the house I was so excited to decorate for Christmas. We moved in on November 14th, so we basically skipped Thanksgiving. Instead of a turkey with all of the trimmings....I cooked pizza....and Ryan had a beer. Hopefully the drinking wasn't brought on by my pizza :(

We went to buy a Christmas tree the day after thanksgiving. Needless to say the Christmas tree farms are not the same as what we are used to. The trees were glorified pine trees and everyone knows that is NOT MY STYLE. So we opted for a pre-cut tree. It was absolutely beautiful, and it took me forever to decorate the 12 foot beast. Sadly, it only lasted about two weeks before the ends were curling up and dying. Christmas just isn't the same without family......

Unpacking all the boxes

Here Ryan is unpacking one of the two hundred boxes...by the way this was three months ago and we still have boxes in the garage. Why do we have so much CRAP!

Move In Day

Ryan did such a good job with finding this house. We looked at two dozen houses and couldn't find one that we liked. Sheila (our awesome realtor) called Ryan about this house and two hours later we were deciding to make an offer. I never saw the house in person until the day Ady and I moved to Oklahoma. I guess it is a good thing I trust RYNO! We had the entire house repainted, added new floors throughout, and new appliances. I am very proud of the floors, Ryan picked them out all by himself.
